Cambridge News Top Innovations Awards names ProReveal in top twenty - recognising breakthrough test for detecting residual proteins on surgical instruments is a technology to watch
Cambridge, UK: Scientific Digital Imaging’s [AIM-SDI] Synoptics Health Division, a manufacturer of innovative digital imaging systems for healthcare applications, is proud to announce the ProReveal Test for detecting proteins on surgical instruments has been listed as one of the top 20 technologies at the prestigious Cambridge News Top Innovations Awards.
Synoptics Health’s ProReveal Protein Detection Test (a rapid, ultra-sensitive technique that detects microgram levels of protein on surgical instruments after disinfection) beat off stiff competition from technologies in the IT, healthcare, telecoms and life sciences sectors to be listed as one of twenty to watch.
Cambridge in the UK has always been a hotbed of success with discovering, funding and marketing new innovations, including two blockbuster drugs and components that are used in mobile ‘phones globally coming from the region. Since Synoptics’ Health’s ProReveal Test is the only commercial test on the market which complies with new recommendations for preventing accidental vCJD infections post-surgery and is a breakthrough technology, it too could enjoy world-wide success.
